River City Christian School is dedicated to providing students with a Christian Education that offers all Core subjects, Bible, and many electives including college and career readiness for every high school student. River City Christian School is a unique, Christ-centered, safe environment for children with learning differences. The school's specially trained teachers and multidisiplinary curriculum enables our children to learn and grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally.
RCCS establishes graduation requirements in compliance with Texas State law and requires each high school student to have a Graduation Plan. This plan outlines prescribed credits in Bible, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Foreign Language, Speech, Technology Applications, Physical Education and elective courses.
High School Course Requirements
A high school student must earn at least 22 credits to complete the Minimum High School Program to be eligible for graduation. One half credit (1/2) credit is equal to one (1) semester.

Students must demonstrate proficiency in the following courses:

- Bible – four (4) credits
- English - four (4) credits
- Foreign Language – two (2) credits of the same language
- Mathematics – three (3) credits to include Algebra I and Geometry.
- Science – three (3) credits to include Biology, Chemistry, Physics
- Social Studies - three (3) credits to include: World History or World Geography, U.S. History, U.S. Government one-half (1/2 credit), and Economics one-half (1/2) credit.
- Physical Education -one (1 ) credit
- Speech - demonstrated proficiency
- Fine Arts – one (1) credit
- Electives – one (1) credit (five (5) total including Bible)
