Mr. Marcos PlaceresAdministrative AssistantPsalm 91; The Soldiers' Psalm
With a heart for serving others, Marcos has dedicated much of his career to supporting at-risk youth, helping students succeed not only academically but also in everyday life. After spending nine years in retail management, he felt a renewed calling to return to his passion—working with children and making a lasting difference in their lives.
Since joining the Warrior Family, Marcos has been grateful for the opportunity to live out his purpose each day. He firmly believes that “children are our future. We must do all that we can to protect and guide them through life and teach them the word of our Savior Jesus Christ.” A proud veteran, Marcos served 22 years in the U.S. military, demonstrating the same dedication and integrity he brings to his work in education. He attended San Antonio College, where he pursued his love of black-and-white photography. Outside of work, Marcos enjoys spending time with his wife of ten years and their daughter—whether they’re listening to 80s music or exploring local parks together. |

~ Psalm 32:8 Mr. Larry Romine is a seasoned educator with extensive teaching experience across all areas of instruction and an impressive 46-year tenure as a coach. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Romine has been happily married for 56 years and is a proud parent of two children and three grandchildren.

~ James 1:5 Mrs. Donna Romine is a Logos Bible College graduate. As the Powerline Program Manager, she is responsible for implementing the program in RCCS and providing valuable support to the Program in other schools. Outside of her professional duties, she finds joy in gardening and cherishes spending quality time with her grandchildren.

~Proverbs 22:6 Mrs. J. Rose Rhoads is a devoted wife and mother of two, married for 23 years. She loves to study, travel, and supports teaching staff in curriculum and instruction design and implementation. Mrs. Rhoads also supports student success through individualized education planning. She is a graduate of St. Leo University.

~ Proverbs 3:5-6 Ms. Tina Nieto is the cornerstone of the RCCS Elementary family. Her unwavering creative spirit and can-do attitude position her as a natural leader on multiple RCCS event committees. A proud graduate of UTSA, she enjoys baking, reading, Zumba, and worship.

~ Philippians 4:6 Mrs. Clarisa Tucker, hailing from Kansas City, MO, is a graduate of the University of Houston with a successful career in coaching college volleyball. Her passion for teaching, mentoring, and sharing the word of God has been at the core of her professional and personal endeavors.

~ 1 Peter 5:6 Mr. Vincent Arredondo has taught in Christian schools since 2004. In 2002, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Secondary at Our Lady of the Lake University. He has enjoyed teaching many subjects and different grade levels, but enjoys teaching English the most. In addition to his educational career, Mr. Arredondo brings experience in the area of music. He has led worship at several churches in the past, and continues his passion for music by learning and teaching the recorder. Two of his favorite pastimes are spending time with his niece and nephews and hanging with friends around campfires to discuss God and life. Mr. Arredondo looks forward to a great year. May the Lord guide us together.

~Hebrews 12:1 Elizabeth Martinez recently returned to the classroom after a four-year break and is thrilled to be teaching at River City Christian School once again. She brings a wealth of experience from her years teaching Pre-K3 through 5th grade in Harlandale ISD, SAISD, and a prior year at RCCS. A proud mother of three senior boys at Pleasanton High School—two in the band and all active in soccer—Ms. Martinez is passionate about helping each student discover their unique purpose this year.

~ Psalm 23 Ms. Rosemarie Garza is a dynamic individual with a diverse range of interests. She finds pleasure in watching the History Channel and Animal Planet. In addition, she has a penchant for crafting, listening to music, and honing her culinary skills in the kitchen.
