What is Powerline?
  • Highly Structured & Phonics-Based: A carefully sequenced, multi-sensory program designed to improve reading, writing, and spelling skills.
  • Individualized Approach: Begins with a diagnostic test to identify each student’s unique learning obstacles, including memory, perception, and phonics challenges.
  • Targeted for Students with Learning Differences: Designed for students struggling with reading comprehension, spelling, and writing, helping them build confidence and succeed academically.
  • Research-Based & Proven: Developed in 1972 by learning specialists Myra and Darwin Frye, and now used in schools nationwide.
  • Specialized Teacher Training: Powerline teachers undergo ongoing training and monthly support to ensure high-quality instruction.
  • Multi-Sensory Techniques: Uses visual, auditory, and perceptual training, along with laterality training, sequencing, and memory development.
  • Empowering Students for Life: More than just a reading program—Powerline equips students with essential skills for long-term academic and personal success.
